Over the course of the last six months, C.I.D. John Nichols along with ASP Special Agent Scott Luter have been conducting an undercover drug buy program in an attempt to address the increasing drug problem we are experiencing in Perry County.
The program was intended to identify and arrest individuals who are manufacturing and distributing drugs. The program culminated on Thursday, August 15, 2013 with the execution of warrants by the Perry County Sheriff’s Department
Daniel Hammett of Pleasant Valley was arrested and charged with Delivery of Methamphetamines, Hydrocodone’s and Xanax’s as well as Maintaining a Drug Premise.
Olivia McKinney of Bigelow was arrested and charged with Delivery of Methamphetamines.
Teresa Harrison of Casa was arrested and charged with the Delivery of Hydrocodone’s.
All three subjects are currently out on bond and are awaiting trial.
At the time of this press release, officers are still actively working on program and expect further arrests.
