On Saturday September 28, 2013, Deputy Ricky Jones responded to a single motorcycle accident on Highway 7 just south of the Big Cove Creek Bridge. Richard Enfield (50 years old) and his wife Christine Enfield (50 years old), both of Benton, AR were traveling south when he lost control of his motorcycle while negotiating a left hand curve.  The motorcycle left the west side of the highway and struck an embankment.  Christine Enfield was fatally injured in the accident.
