
HOMELESS MAN ARRESTED ON THEFT CHARGES
Sometimes when you open your home trying to do something good it does not mean it will end in something good. This happened on March 5, 2014 when victims home was opened up to a homeless person, Bobby Cannon, providing him shelter during the cold winter nights with a warm place and food to eat. Victim was preparing for an estate sale during this time when a neighbor informed victim that she thought she had seen some of victim’s at a local pawn shop. After victim went to pawn shop and identified items, victim contacted Sheriff’s Department and wanted Mr. Cannon removed from home. Sgt. Bill Finley questioned Mr. Cannon, he admitted to taking all items. Mr. Cannon was arrested without further incident. As victim was cleaning room Cannon was staying in, numerous items which had been reported stolen in around address of victim.
