On November 2, 2015 Deputy Will Doughty was on routine patrol on Twin Oaks road on Harris Brake Lake when he observed Chad Carden, who has felony warrants out of Perry County, talking to another individual. Doughty stated that Carden noticed him as well. Deputy Doughty stopped and yelled for Carden to stop and Carden kept walking and went to the east side of a vacant partially burnt house. Doughty guarded the house and waited on Deputy Cathy Byrd to back him up.
Both Deputies entered the partially burnt house and found Carden hiding inside a closet, he was arrested without further incident. Chad Carden is being held in the Perry County Detention Center without bond until he see’s Judge Andrew Gill. |
