Tuesday night (March 15) started off with Deputies responding to a tip that Waylon Butterfield (34 years old), who is wanted for failure to appear, was at a residence in Pleasant Valley. Upon arrival deputies found the truck he was allegedly driving. After a search of that vehicle deputies found that Butterfield had fled on foot just prior to their arrival. The truck’s VIN was ran thru ACIC and was reported stolen out of Faulkner County. After further investigation deputies arrested Nicole Belk (26 years old) for hindering apprehension. After being taken into custody Belk was searched where approximately one gram of Meth was found on her.
Butterfield is also wanted for questioning on a separate incident, it was reported to the Perry County Sheriff’s Office by Nicole Belk that Butterfield and Niki James held her at gunpoint on January 26, 2016 and allegedly stole approximately $300.00 in cash and her 2011 Nissan Altima. The 2011 Nissan Altima was found abandoned in Morrilton on March 7, 2016
Butterfield is still at large and considered armed and dangerous. It has been reported to this agency that he has made the statement many times over that he has a gun and ready for a gun fight, that he will NOT go peacefully.
