TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO TWO PERSONS UNDER ARREST FOR POSSESSION OF DRUGS AND DRUG PARAPHERNALIA

On May 10, 2016 at approximately 4:00 PM Sgt. Keenan Carter made a traffic stop at the intersection of State HWY 216 and 300 on a maroon Buick car that was a possible suspect in a runaway case. The driver identified as Travis Lively 37 yrs old of Morrilton. Mr. Lively stated to Sgt. Carter that his driver’s license was expired. A check through ACIC on Mr. Lively revealed that Mr. Lively’s license had been expired for over a year. Also Mr. Lively’s insurance was cancelled. As a result of not having a valid driver’s license Sgt. Carter had the vehicle towed and during the inventory of the vehicle there was a metal smoking device, a wooden smoking device, plastic short straws, a light bulb with burn marks, and a small plastic container with a green vegetable substance in a bag in the front floorboard, all items appeared to have drug residue on them.

Mr. Lively along with his passenger, Amber Donnelly 38 yrs old of Morrilton were arrested for possession of controlled a substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Lively was also cited for driving without a driver’s license and no insurance.
