TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO DRUGS AND DRUG PARAPHERNALIA ARREST

On Jan. 23, 2018 around 8:45AM Deputy Nick Kincade stopped a red GMC Acadia for failing to stop at the intersection of HWY 300 and HWY 9, they also failed to use a turn signal. During the traffic stop Deputy Kincade ran the subjects in the vehicle, the two male subjects in the vehicle had warrants for their arrest. As incident to arrest Deputy Kincade searched Tyler Doughty (21 yrs old) of Alexander, AR. Deputy Kincade found a glass pipe containing a substance matter consistent with Methamphetamines. Doughty was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, both are class D felonies. The other male subject, Sean McKinney (22 yrs old) of Morrilton, AR was arrested on his warrants and turned over to Conway County Sheriff’s Office. The driver, Nicole Belk was cited and released for failing to stop at a stop sign and for no proof of insurance.
