Deputy Barrett Smith and Lt. Bill Finley responded to a disturbance at 141 Wye Mtn. Estates Loop on June 6, 2018 at 9:45 PM. Upon arrival the suspect (Randall Bridges, 39 years old) fled from a vehicle into the woods. After checking on the complainants to make sure they were ok, Deputy Smith found Bridges in the woods and arrested him. Bridges had been going around the house breaking things and threatening his family with a knife, stating he was going to “slit their throats” and at one point he had grabbed his mom’s arm and jerked her around. Also he had been throwing the knife and sticking into the floor.
Bridges is being held in the Perry County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing; he has been charged with Fleeing on foot, 2nd Degree Assault on a family member, and 1st Degree Terroristic Threatening. |
