Houston man arrested for Assault 1st Degree

Sheriff Scott Montgomery reported that on July 19, 2018 Deputies Bill Finley and Barrett Smith responded to a fight in progress at 121 Vaught Road. Richard Couples (45 yrs old of Houston), hit Jeff Mcghee with a pipe across McGhee’s chest while he was riding a motorcycle on Vaught Road.

Couples was arrested and charged with Assault in the 1st Degree.
