Man Leads Pursuit Thru Several Counties

On 02/15/19, at approximately 9:19PM Deputies attempted a traffic stop with a grey 4 Runner bearing ARLPN 787TYN at Hwy 113 near Edwards Ln. Deputy Williams was the initiating officer when the vehicle failed to stop at the stop sign at Hwy 300 approaching Hwy 113. The vehicle also failed to signal this turn, leading Deputy Williams to initiate the stop. When Deputy Williams activated his blue lights, the vehicle began to accelerate and flee the area. After initiating pursuit, the vehicle continued onto Hwy 300 towards Little Italy when the driver of the vehicle, only identified later as a Dillion Duke, applied his brakes causing Deputy Williams to strike the rear of the vehicle and lose control into the ditch. Pursuit continued into Pulaski County and then back onto Hwy 300 into Perry County.  Duke lead Deputies thru Perry, Pulaski, Conway, Yell, Scott, and back into Yell County before Ark. State Police pitted him out in Yell County.  Scott County Deputies using K-9 units and FLIR equipment found Duke in the woods not far from his vehicle, he was arrested without further incident.

Responding units from Perry County, Perry PD, Perryville PD, Scott County, Waldron PD, Arkansas State Police, Arkansas Game and Fish, Ola PD, and Yell county assisted in pursuit and apprehension.
