Perryville Man Arrested For Domestic and Drug Charges

On March 23, 2019 Deputies responded to a Domestic situation call at 316 N. Volman St. in Bigelow. Upon arrival they met with the complainant who advised that Orville Dewayne Kelley, 50 years old, of Perryville was beating his girlfriend up, but had left prior to Deputies arrival. A little while later the complainant called back and said Kelley and the victim had returned. Deputies returned and found Kelley, while trying to question him, Kelley became irate and tried to fight Deputies, they restrained him and arrested him without further incident. The victim had choke marks on her neck

Kelley was charged with Domestic Battery 3rd Degree, Possession of Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms, Certain Persons in Possession of Firearms, Terroristic Threatening, and Resisting Arrest. Kelley is being held in the Perry County Jail awaiting a bond hearing.
