Grandmother arrested for DWI and Endangering the Welfare of a Minor

On May 16, 2019 at approximately 8:00 PM dispatch received a call of a reckless driver on State HWY 60 West. Caller was an off-duty police officer, he advised that a maroon Jeep Cherokee bearing a Louisiana license plate 903CTD was passing vehicles at a high rate of speed and driving to close to other vehicles.

Upon arrival deputies stopped the vehicle in question, the driver, Coleen Stein, 54 years old of Perryville was intoxicated on Rum. Stein had her 28 year old son in the vehicle as well as her 7 year old grandson. Because of her erratic driving and being DWI, Stein was charged with Endangering the welfare of a minor along with the DWI.
