On August 19, 2019 at approximately 3:30 PM Sgt. Keenan Carter made contact with Summer Verbeck (27 Years old) at Casey’s store, last shown address of Clinton, Arkansas.
Ms. Verbeck was a suspect in a case being investigated by Perryville city officer Robert McGhee. Officer McGhee was looking for her in reference to a theft of property. Upon approaching her, she began yelling obscenities at Sgt. Carter. Sgt. Carter tried calming her down and she continued to yell obscenities and that she hated the police. Ms. Verbeck was under the influence of an unknown intoxicant, so Sgt. Carter placed her under arrest for disorderly conduct and public intoxication. While in transport Verbeck told Sgt. Carter that she had broke into a church and stole several items. Verbeck was in possession of 2 rolls of duct tape, 1 small trowel, 1 can opener, 1 small brown gavel, 6 small boxes of matches, 3 brown cloth napkins, 3 small cloth towels.
Inv. Robbie Stout assisted Sgt. Carter, he checked the local churches around Perryville, none of them had been broken into. So, then he checked the Perryville Masonic Lodge and found that she had broken into the lodge.
Verbeck was also charged with commercial burglary a class B felony and theft of property, class A misdemeanor.
