Neighbors call 911, Deputies respond and arrest Burglar in process

On September 16th at approximately 9: 50 AM, a concerned neighbor saw a suspicious person pull up to a residence in a boat, the person exited the boat with a pry bar in his hand. The suspicious person made his way up to the residence.

Upon arrival Sgt. Keenan Carter and Deputy Danny Story made contact with an Owen Blake. Blake was at the boat and in possession of a pry bar. Further investigation found that the rear door of the residence had been pried open and Blake had made entry.

Blake was arrested and charged with Residential Burglary, a class B Felony and Criminal Mischief, a class A Misdemeanor. Blake is being held in the Perry County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
