On October 19, 2019 Deputy Christy Biddle responded to Casa in response to a Harassment case. Upon arrival Deputy Biddle met with the parents of a juvenile who stated that the juvenile had been contacted by a subject through a website. The suspect did meet up with the juvenile and attempted to sexually assault the juvenile. Fortunately, he was interrupted by the juvenile's dad. When the dad approached them, the suspect got away, but the juvenile was able to get out of the truck before the suspect took off. The dad chased the suspect and called 911, the suspect was caught by Ola Police Officers. Ola Police conducted an impound inventory of the suspect's truck. In that truck they found 5 bottles of lotion, several rolls of toilet paper, gloves, blankets, pillow, rope, a plastic tarp, flashlight, several knives, a marijuana pipe, binoculars, and a shovel.
Sheriff Montgomery stated, "Thank goodness the parents of this juvenile were able to stop this predator. Parents please educate your kids about the dangers of these predators and the dangers that are on the internet".
Dearl Tucker of Dardanelle was turned over to Deputy Biddle. Biddle transported Tucker to the Perry County Detention Center. Biddle charged him with Sexual Assault 2nd Degree, False Imprisonment 2nd Degree, Kidnapping, Criminal Trespassing, Internet Stalking of a Child, Instrument of a crime, Criminal Attempt. |
