On October 2, 2019 around 7:00 PM Deputy Nick Kincade responded to Bigelow Market in reference to a man holding a lady against her will. Upon arrival Deputy Kincade made contact with Olen McConnell. McConnell was very nervous and when Deputy Kincade got him out of the car to talk to him, McConnell tried to run and Kincade had to fight him to detain him. Further investigation found that McConnell was in possession of a crack pipe and a syringe and also in the car where McConnell was sitting was a tobacco canister containing two baggies, one baggie was containing a white crystal substance (Methamphetamines) and the other on contained a green vegetable substance (Marijuana).
McConnell was charged with Battery 2nd Degree, Possession of Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. |
