Traffic Stop Leads to Simultanous PossessionDrugs and Firearms

On September 9, 2020, Chief Deputy Bill Finley reports that Deputy Kevin Moore while on routine patrol stopped 48-year-old Dale Lankford of Perryville for No License Plate Light. After gaining consent to search, a search found a small bag of crystal-like substance (Crystal Methamphetamines) between the console and passenger's seat. Also, in the passenger's floorboard was a rifle. Mr. Lankford was arrested and charged with no license plate light, unclassified Misdemeanor; Driving while License Revoked, unclassified Misdemeanor; Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms, class Y Felony.
