Routine patrol leads to arrest and multiply charges

While on routine patrol on state highway 9&10 on Perry Mountain. Deputy Jeremy Lawson observed a gold Pontiac Trans Am traveling at 85 MPH with loud exhaust. Deputy Lawson turned around and activated his emergency lights and siren. Deputy Lawson could hear the vehicle downshift and speed up attempting to flee from him. The vehicle was located at a residence in Perry. Subject, Bryant Knight gave deputies a false name. Knight threatened deputies' family members.

Knight was charged with speeding, fleeing, no insurance, improper passing, reckless driving, illegal window tint, obstructing govt. operations, attempting to influence a public servant, improper exhaust, and terroristic threatening.
