New Press Release

Escapee Caught

On Tuesday August 7, 2012 Pulaski County Sheriff's Office apprehended Charle Hamner.  Hamner was caught in a barn in rural Pulaski County, he was sleeping in a car that he stole from Dewitt Arkansas.

Hamner escaped last Thursday evening through a fence in the exercise yard.  After taken bolts loose from the clamps on the fence Hamner was able to pull the fence back far enough to where he slip through the fence.  Once he escaped he made his way to the County Road Department and stole a 2003 Chevrolet pick-up and busted through the gate.

The fence around the exercise yard was repaired the next day.  The county road department double enforced the bolts by putting a tact weld on the tap so it can't be loosened.
