On May 11, 2013 @ approx. 8:43 PM Deputy Bill Finley made contact with a black passenger car after Sheriff Montgomery advised him that he had received an complaint on the car for reckless driving. The car was being driven by a Kyle Thessing of Perryville. Deputy Finley stated that Thessing was driving left of center when he met it on State HWY 216. Deputy Finley stopped the car and made contact with Thessing, Deputy Finley stated that Thessing smelled of intoxicants and there were two open beers in the console. Deputy Finley stated that Thessing was incapable of performing a field sobriety test. Mr. Thessing refused a breathalyzer test. Deputy Finley charged Thessing with DWI II, refusal to submit, and possession of a controlled substance, 20 prescription pills in an unknown container.
