The Perry County Reserve unit is lead by Commander Tony Shields. The unit works very hard throughout the year assisting officers when needed, helping with road blocks, transporting inmates, etc. Reserve Officers also work at Bigelow High and Perryville High Schools ballgames and major events. During the summer, many of the Reserve Officers patrol Lake Nimrod and Lake Sylvia camping areas and the dam several times a week! All of the Reserve Officers are a great asset to the Sheriff’s Department!
